Welcome to KhozyReads. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our digital bookstore at khozyreads.com.
1. Information We Collect
When you sign in to KhozyReads using Google authentication, we receive:
- Basic profile info — your name and profile picture (from Google).
- Email address — used as your account identifier.
- Reading activity — books you favorite, purchase, and access in our library.
- Payment proof — screenshots/photos you upload to confirm ABA / KHQR bank transfers.
We do not store your bank password, Google password, or any sensitive payment credentials.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your KhozyReads account.
- To verify your manual ABA / KHQR payments and grant access to purchased books.
- To deliver Khmer digital books and stories you have purchased.
- To respond to your support requests via Telegram or email.
- To improve our service and detect abuse.
3. How We Store and Protect Data
Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL database, hosted with industry-standard encryption) and served through Cloudflare. We use row-level security so that only you (and authorised administrators) can see your account data.
Passwords are never stored in plain text. All connections to KhozyReads use HTTPS encryption.
4. Sharing With Third Parties
We do not sell your data to anyone. Limited data is processed by:
- Google — for authentication only (you log in with Google).
- Supabase — for storing your account and library data.
- Cloudflare — for serving the website and protecting against attacks.
- Telegram — only if you contact our admin via the Telegram link.
5. Your Rights
You may request to:
- Access the data we have about you.
- Correct inaccurate information in your profile.
- Delete your account and all associated data.

6. Content Protection
Digital books on KhozyReads are protected by visible watermarks containing your username and account ID. Sharing, screenshotting, or redistributing purchased books is prohibited and may result in account suspension.
7. Cookies and Local Storage
We use browser local storage to remember your language preference and active login session. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies.
8. Children's Privacy
KhozyReads is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy over time. Significant changes will be announced on our homepage and via Telegram. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
